Olympia Events brings food and beverage operations in-house ahead of 2026 expansion

Olympia Events, part of Legends Global, has brought its food and beverage operations in-house, marking a strategic shift for the multi-venue complex as it prepares for the opening of its new International Convention Centre and premium lounge in 2026.

From 1 January 2026, the new in-house model will apply across Olympia’s Heritage Halls, the upcoming International Convention Centre, and the premium lounge, The Addison. The move aims to support a more integrated and elevated culinary experience for event organisers and guests.

Under Legends Global’s culinary and hospitality leadership, the in-house operation will deliver a refreshed approach focused on British provenance, locally sourced seasonal ingredients and sustainability. The transition also includes a full refresh of retail and catering units across the Grand Hall and National Hall.

From early January, visitors will see the introduction of new premium dining concepts, including Chicken Shack, It’s A Wrap, Bowl Me Over and London Kitchen. To support the expanded culinary strategy, a new Executive Chef will be appointed in the coming months to lead the evolving food and beverage offer.

“Our top priority at Olympia is to enhance the customer experience at every touchpoint. Moving food and beverage in-house, under Legends Global, will help us achieve exactly that,” said Rob Colegate, Food & Beverage Director at Olympia Events. “This new in-house model allows us to further elevate our food and beverage offer, providing a broader range of high-quality and premium options for our customers across our Heritage Halls, new ICC and premium lounge, The Addison.”

He added that the change provides greater flexibility and creative control, ensuring the food and beverage experience evolves in line with the scale and diversity of events hosted at Olympia.

“Legends Global’s expansion into the London market continues at pace and the addition of Olympia to the portfolio is something that we are very proud of,” said Stephen Cooper, SVP of Food & Beverage (Europe) at Legends Global. “Its 2026 opening is going to be game changing for live events and entertainment in London, which means the culinary offering will be setting a new standard, too.”

Legends Global operates venue hospitality and food and beverage services across major venues in Europe and the UK, including arenas, sports venues and racecourses. The company has recently expanded its in-house food and beverage operations across several high-profile venues, reinforcing its focus on integrated hospitality delivery.
