International Aviation Forum Expands Signatories of the Aviation4All Declaration

 

Ekali, 8 December 2025: The International Aviation Forum (IAF) announced today the expansion of co-signatories to the Aviation4All Declaration, a landmark initiative first signed on 8 December 2024 in Ekali. The declaration outlines strategic priorities to:

  • strengthen the economic resilience of aviation,
  • promote equitable access to air transport services,
  • improve operational efficiency, and
  • support the long-term economic prosperity of the global aviation industry.

During the 42nd ICAO General Assembly, a working paper supporting the implementation of the declaration was jointly submitted by seven leading international aviation bodies: the Hermes – Air Transport Organisation, the Arab Air Carriers’ Organization (AACO), ASA World, the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO), The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA), the Air Transport Research Society (ATRS), and the International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations (IFATSEA). 

The paper received unanimous support from 12 States and ACI World, and its recommendations were incorporated into the Report of the ICAO Economic Commission. The Commission called on the ICAO Council to strengthen coordination on cross-cutting issues related to the economic development of air transport and to advance ICAO’s Strategic Objective on Economic Development of Air Transport. 

60 Organizations Now Supporting Aviation4All

The number of signatories to the Aviation4All Declaration has now grown to 60 organizations and companies, reflecting the global industry’s strong commitment to the initiative’s principles.

Newly joined signatories include:

  • Regional Airline Association (RAA)
  • Regional Air Cargo Carriers Association (RACCA)

  • Cyprus Airways
  • KM Malta Airlines 
  • MBA in Air Transport Management - MATBA
  • Richmond International Airport
  • SAS
  • SmartKargo
  • Tallinn Airport
  • Travel Daily News
  • Zagreb Airport

“We are pleased to welcome these new companies to the Aviation4All Declaration,” said Dr. Kostas Iatrou, Co-Executive Director of the IAF. “Their participation strengthens our collective effort to advance a more resilient, inclusive, and efficient global aviation sector.”  

Mehmet Nane, Co-Executive Director of the IAF added: “Just a year after Aviation4All was launched in Athens, the declaration has grown into a strong and united coalition. With 60 signatories, we are working together to strengthen the industry’s economic resilience, extend equal access to air transport, and drive smarter, more efficient operations for long-term prosperity. As this collective effort continues to grow, we invite all stakeholders who share this vision to join us and help turn these commitments into measurable and lasting progress for our industry.”  

The announcement was made during the IAF Meeting held today in Ekali, Athens.
