Constructed on a 6,380 sqm plot, the new facility will operate as an ultra-private FBO with direct helipad and vertiport access. The design enables seamless arrivals and departures for helicopters and future electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, supporting rapid point-to-point mobility across Dubai and the wider UAE.
The terminal aims to provide a streamlined and high-end travel experience. Passengers will be able to arrive by private jet, clear customs in complete privacy, and immediately continue their journey by helicopter or transition to next-generation eVTOL services. This approach is expected to significantly reduce transfer times between Dubai’s key urban and business districts.
The development will also incorporate a full suite of premium amenities, including VIP lounges, private banking services, commercial areas and luxury retail, aligning with Dubai’s position as a global centre for executive aviation and high-net-worth travel.
Sultan Rashit Abdulla Rashit Al Shene, Founder & Chairman of Alex Group Investment, emphasised the project’s strategic importance: “This terminal marks a decisive shift in Dubai’s aviation future. For the first time, private jet operations, helicopter services, and next-generation eVTOL mobility will operate under one fully private gateway. We are building the largest helipad facility in the UAE, not as an addition, but as a foundation for the region’s future air mobility network. This project is the beginning of a new chapter for aviation in Dubai.”
For travel trade professionals, the project represents a significant evolution in premium mobility infrastructure. As Dubai positions itself at the forefront of urban air mobility, the new Falcon Executive Aviation terminal is expected to support the city’s fast-growing demand for private aviation, inter-emirate transfers and high-efficiency business travel.
The initiative signals the UAE’s continued investment in next-generation aviation capabilities, laying the groundwork for future eVTOL adoption and strengthening Dubai’s role as a global leader in luxury, business and advanced air mobility services.
