RoomPriceGenie RMS introduces group displacement calculator

 

STEINHAUSEN, SWITZERLAND – RoomPriceGenie, a leading provider of revenue management systems (RMS) for independent hotels and hotel groups, has announced the launch of a new group displacement calculator, designed to help hoteliers more accurately evaluate the profitability of group bookings.

The new functionality, fully integrated into the award-winning RoomPriceGenie RMS, enables hotels to compare forecasted transient revenue with proposed group rates, giving commercial teams – including sales, marketing, and revenue management – a unified, data-driven view to inform booking decisions.

By streamlining workflows and removing silos between departments, the tool reduces delays that could otherwise risk losing valuable group opportunities. Among its key capabilities, the group displacement calculator allows hotels to:

  • Compare profit margins across different group pricing and discount options.
