Tourism Australia has joined hands with Indonesia’s adventure and sports tourism agency, Yuktravel, to launch an exciting new initiative that opens the gateway for Indonesian travelers to experience Australia’s premier sporting events and scenic marathons.
The campaign took off with a vibrant travel fair held on January 18 and 19 in Jakarta. Visitors had the chance to explore an array of Australia’s top upcoming sporting highlights, including the TCS Sydney Marathon, Gold Coast Marathon, the 2025-2026 Asia Pacific Ironman competition in Busselton, Western Australia, and the iconic Nike Melbourne Marathon. Exclusive travel offers and Yuktravel’s signature ‘runcation’ packages, designed for adventure-seeking runners, were also featured.
Looking ahead to February and March 2025, sports enthusiasts in Bandung and West Surabaya can gear up for exhilarating fun runs that spotlight Australia’s must-visit sporting events and Yuktravel’s bespoke ‘runcation’ options.
