Ambassador Cruise Line is set to reintroduce three exciting categories of themed cruises this year, offering diverse experiences for travelers.
The no-fly cruise line will launch a four-night ‘Back to the 80s’ voyage, sailing to Belgium and the Netherlands aboard Ambience. Departing from the London Cruise Terminal on May 1, this nostalgic trip will feature performances by The Fizz, with Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston from Bucks Fizz, alongside Toyah Wilcox.
Crafting enthusiasts can look forward to three ‘Supercraft Cruises’ led by actress and TV producer Julie Peasgood, the founder of the concept. These cruises will host interactive workshops where passengers can create jewelry, cards, notebooks, ornaments, wreaths, and more. Two of these voyages will explore the ‘Hidden Gems of The Netherlands, Belgium, and the British Isles,’ with a nine-night itinerary departing from Liverpool on April 27 and an eight-night option departing from Belfast on April 28. Prices for these crafting experiences start at £959 and £899 per person, respectively.
The third crafting-focused journey, a 14-night ‘France, Portugal & Spain Adventure,’ departs from the London Cruise Terminal on September 20, with fares starting at £1,269 per person.
Additionally, Ambassador Cruise Line has teamed up with ORCA Ocean Conservationists to offer three nature-inspired sailings, where passengers can learn about marine ecosystems and visit wildlife hotspots. These include the 14-night ‘Iberian Multigenerational Adventure’ departing on August 10, the 14-night ‘France, Portugal & Spain Adventure’ departing September 20, and the 18-night ‘Gems of Spain and Portugal’ departing September 27. The first two journeys depart from the London Cruise Terminal, while the third sets sail from Belfast.
Pricing for these conservation cruises starts at £1,079 per person for the ‘Iberian Multigenerational Adventure,’ £1,269 for the ‘France, Portugal & Spain Adventure,’ and £1,999 for the ‘Gems of Spain and Portugal.’
