Italy’s ACI Blueteam enjoys ‘outstanding’ 2024 as sales rise

 Italian travel management company ACI Blueteam has enjoyed an “outstanding” 2024 across its operGeneral manager Roberto Bettinelli said it had been an “extraordinary year” for the Luisago-based company, which illustrated that ACI Blueteam was a “major player in the business travel industry”.

Bettinelli said business travel remained “central to our operations” and accounted for €180 million of the TMC’s 2024’s sales, which was a 2.8 per cent rise on 2023.

He also highlighted “strong acceleration” for its meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) business, which rose by 27 per cent year-on-year to reach €26 million in 2024, while leisure travel was up by 20 per cent to €25 million.

The TMC, which was founded in 1998, is part of the wider ACI (Automobile Club Italia) Group. It was ranked as the fifth largest TMC in Italy and came 21st in Europe in the list of Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024.

“These results stem from an innovative strategy, targeted technological investments and a solid synergy with Automobile Club Italia, further enhancing our presence in the sports automotive sector,” added Bettinelli.

ACI Blueteam said it had managed to grow its business travel revenue this year, despite a “contraction” in the fashion sector, which accounts for 60 per cent of its corporate travel sales.

The company added that there had been “significant growth driven by process optimisation”, as well as through offering more exclusive services, such as ground transport and VIP concierge, to clients.

“In 2025, ACI Blueteam aims to expand its presence in new industries while continuing to serve the fashion segment with tailored solutions,” said the TMC.

In its meetings division, ACI plans to expand its “green” events and launch RIDE – Redefined Italian Dream Experience, which will offer corporate events blending “fashion, haute cuisine and the adrenaline of automotive circuits”.

Other developments for 2025 will include integrating NDC airline content to offer a wider range of flights, as well as adding new features to its proprietary BT Tool self-booking platform.ations with sales rising by 5 per cent year-on-year to reach a total of €270 million
