Princess Cruises has announced the addition of two 14-day Grand Asia voyages between Shanghai and Singapore on the fleet’s newest ship, Majestic Princess. Available to guests around the world, the cruises will visit Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand in 2018, spending a late night in Hong Kong. The first departs Shanghai on February 25, 2018 and the second departs Singapore on March 11. Majestic Princess features two new restaurant concepts, La Mer and Harmony. La Mer offers an authentic Parisian bistro experience with a fine dining dinner menu featuring authentic French cuisine with modern twists. Harmony is a specialty restaurant with a sophisticated Cantonese dinner menu. Both menus were designed by Michelin-star chefs, and together the venues offer guests great French and Chinese dining options. Travelers will also be able to try Gong Cha, the Chinese-style bubble milk tea, the American Steakhouse experience of Crown Grill familiar fleetwide, Lobster Grill, Dim Sum Bar, and Alfredo’s which loyal guests tout as the “best pizza at sea.” On May 21, the ship will embark on the “Silk Road Sea Route,” a 49-day journey from Rome to Shanghai. During the cruise she will visit a total of 22 ports before arriving in her new homeport. Majestic Princess will then begin her first voyage from China on July 11, 2017.
