Hilton Crystal City At Washington Reagan National Airport Announces Completion Of $12M Renovation


ARLINGTON, Va. - Hilton Crystal City at Washington Reagan National Airport announced completion of a comprehensive $12 million renovation. The hotel's 393 guest rooms, convention and meeting space and lobby level have all received dramatic refurbishment. As part of the refurbishment program, the hotel introduces a new area, Oasis, geared to exceeding the needs of today's traveler. The hotel also added a dramatic new executive lounge to service the needs of high level Hilton HHonors members along with those desiring specialized services.
Located at 2399 Jefferson Davis Highway, the newly transformed Hilton Crystal City at Washington Reagan National Airport is now as stunning as it is convenient. Just three miles from downtown Washington D.C. and steps from the D.C. Metro, the hotel makes travel throughout the D.C. and Northern Virginia area convenient and stress-free. While the hotel sits adjacent to Washington Reagan National Airport, it is surrounded by charming neighborhood restaurants, bars and shops that are hallmarks of the area's vitality.

The hotel, owned by the JBG Companies and managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, added six studio suites to its inventory of 393 guest rooms during the renovation project. Each of the 393 guest rooms and suites are elegantly styled with a contemporary palette evoking a sense of upscale and comfort. Guest rooms feature the Hilton Serenity Bed Package for ultimate comfort along with the signature Hilton clock radio and iPod docking station, oversized work space, in-room refrigerators and safes. The Hilton brand Stay Connected Internet platform was installed providing wired and wireless connectivity in guest rooms as well as all public areas. 
Special attention was paid to the significant convention and meeting space during the design phase. A fresh new look was created giving the area a vibrant feel. A new lighting packagealong with a state-of-the-art sound system was installed. The improvements make the extensive convention floor one of the finest in the Northern Virginia area.

The newly created Oasis, located off the main lobby, brings a sense of excitement to the hotel. Oasis offers a variety of eating and dining options serving lunch and dinner daily and featuring a robust cocktail menu, craft beers and an extensive wine selection. The Oasis Marketplace allows guests to enjoy the latest coffee and tea drinks, fresh pastries and grab and go options.
A highlight of the restoration is the creation of the stand-out executive lounge geared toward meeting the needs of business travelers and providing service for the high-level Hilton HHonors guest. This stylish area features ample social space for gathering, up-to-the-minute technology for connecting and a relaxed environment to recover from the challenges of the day. The new executive lounge is truly one of a kind.
