As one of the top five travel exhibitions in the world, MITT is a significant event. In 2012 over 47 million Russians travelled abroad. Moreover, Russians are the 5th in the world for international tourism expenditure. The 2013 edition of the show attracted over 73,000 attendees, and hosted 3,000 companies from 198 destinations.

Ukraine is the second largest source market out of the post-soviet countries and more than 20 million Ukrainians travelled abroad in 2012. UITT, the largest travel show in Ukraine annually welcomes an excess of 50 national stands, and in 2014 the show will celebrate its 20th edition.

With one of the fastest growing GDP’s and part of the G20 group, Turkey is one of the major economies in the world. Outbound tourism from Turkey equalled 18.2 million people in 2012. A new feature at EMITT 2014 will be the inclusion of both a dedicated winter and health tourism hall. Over 3,900 companies from 60 destinations exhibited in 2013.
