Dreams Take Flight with Windstar Cruises Tahiti Air Package

Seattle– Windstar Cruises, a leader in small ship cruising, offers the perfect way to complement recently introduced Dreams of Tahiti voyages with the debut of its cruise and airfare offer. The package includes round trip airfare between Los Angeles (LAX) and Papeete, Tahiti via non-stop Air Tahiti Nui service; one complimentary night pre-cruise at the beautiful Le Meredien Papeete; and complimentary transfers to and from the yacht. Guests can add the convenience of the new air and hotel package for only $1,999 per person. Additionally, Windstar is currently offering 2-for-1 cruise fares for its Tahiti voyages from $2,999 per person.

“Our new air and hotel package makes it easy and effortless for our guests to enjoy the pampering they deserve,” said Dustin Halcon, Windstar Cruises’ director of vacation planning. “We take care of all the arrangements in Windstar style, allowing our guests to adjust to island time on the beach or by the pool before they depart on their Windstar cruise.”
Wind Sprit, the line’s newly renovated 148-passenger sailing yacht, sails seven-day Dreams of Tahiti voyages from the capital city of Papeete, Tahiti beginning May 2, 2014 with stops through the Society Islands of Moorea, Tahaa, Raiatea, Bora Bora, and Huahine. The voyages are available through November 7, 2014.

While on board, guests will delight in the immersion of the South Pacific culture brought to life in Windstar style. Traditional Tahitian dancers will come on board for a magical evening to remember, while regional dishes are served during Windstar’s signature deck barbecue, held under the sails and stars one night per cruise. In addition, guests can soak up the crystal-clear lagoons from Wind Spirit’s Watersports Platform, which offers paddle boards, kayaks, Hobie Cats, wind surfing, snorkeling equipment, and more.  Wind Spirit will also offer an onboard dive program.

Onshore, excursions are delivered in true French Polynesian style. Guests can hop on a colorful Le Truck in Papeete for a scenic drive and cultural experience all in one; watch villagers on Tahaa wade into the lagoon and beat the water with rocks in the ancient practice of stone fishing; experience life in a traditional Tahitian village at the Tiki Village Cultural Center on Moorea; or just simply gaze into a fiery sunset and watch for the green flash as the sun melts below the horizon.
