MIAMI – Oceania Cruises announced a transition to an adults-only experience across its fleet, effective January 7, 2026. From that date, the cruise line will exclusively welcome guests aged 18 and over for all new reservations on future voyages.
All
existing reservations made prior to January 7, 2026 that include travelers
under the age of 18 will be fully honored, ensuring continuity for guests with
confirmed bookings.
The change
follows feedback gathered through extensive research involving repeat guests,
travel partners, and new-to-brand customers. According to the findings, guests
consistently cited a serene onboard environment, sophisticated service, and an
unhurried pace as key reasons for choosing Oceania Cruises.
“Our guests have consistently shared that the tranquil environment aboard our ships is one of the primary reasons they return time and time again,” stated Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises. “By transitioning to an adults-only experience, we are enhancing the very essence of the Oceania Cruises journey – one defined by sophistication, serenity and discovery.”
The
adults-only policy applies to all future voyages booked after the effective
date and aligns with the brand’s positioning around calm, destination-focused
travel experiences.
The
announcement was made from Miami on January 7, 2026, marking a new operational
phase for the cruise line while maintaining existing commitments to current
guests.
