Europe Congress hosts Events Club Associations Forum in Budapest

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY – Europe Congress will host the Events Club Associations Forum in Budapest this March, welcoming more than 100 event industry professionals for 2.5 days of focused B2B meetings and destination awareness activities designed specifically for association event planners.

The Events Club Associations Forum is targeted at planners representing global associations and professional congress organisers. Organised in partnership with the Budapest Convention Bureau, the forum aims to connect participants with venues and destinations experienced in hosting large-scale international association events, while presenting Budapest’s MICE offering.

The forum will be held at Corinthia Budapest, a landmark hotel located in the city centre. Participants will be based at the property throughout the event, with access to its event facilities, Royal Spa, and food and beverage outlets, using the hotel as a hub for networking and destination exploration.

Commenting on the event, Andrea Márton, Director of Marketing and Communication at Corinthia Budapest, said: “The Events Club Associations Forum is an excellent platform to highlight Budapest as a competitive and inspiring destination for association events. Hosting the forum at Corinthia Budapest enables us to present our historical setting, large-scale and flexible event spaces, and strong service standards directly to key industry decision makers, supporting future MICE growth for both the hotel and the city.”

Beyond the host venue, the programme includes two evening events at key locations in Budapest. Participants will attend networking dinners at Hungexpo, a major exhibition and congress venue, and at Gundel, a historic restaurant with more than 130 years of history in the city centre.

The event programme also features four city experience tours and a series of hotel site inspections designed to familiarise participants with Budapest and its event infrastructure. Planned activities include a walking tour of the Pest side of the city with visits to the opera house and St. Stephen’s Basilica, a City Park tour including the Széchenyi Medicinal Baths and the House of Hungarian Music, a sightseeing bus tour with tastings of Hungarian wine, strudel and goulash, and a private visit to the Zwack Museum with a tasting of Zwack Unicum.

Hosted buyer registration remains open for association and PCO event planners interested in participating. Europe Congress has also confirmed plans to host additional events in 2026 in Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, Prague and Valencia.
