BOSTON—Yotel has opened its second U.S. location today in the Seaport District here. Inspired by first-class airline travel, Yotel Boston features designed cabins, a technology-driven guest experience, social spaces for co-working, relaxing and socializing. The new hotel will also introduce the city’s newest indoor/outdoor rooftop bar and terrace, Sky Lounge.
In keeping with its tech-savvy neighborhood, at “mission control,” guests can check in with the hotel’s airline-style self-service kiosk or use the Yotel app for keyless cabin entry. Associates are on hand 24/7 to assist guests. In addition, free WiFi is available throughout the property. A tech feature at Yotel Boston is Atom, an 84-in. digital ‘social galaxy’ displayed on a screen where guests can interact via their social media channels.
All 326 cabins offer the brand’s signature SmartBed with Serta gel mattresses, Technowalls with smart TVs, mood lighting, connectivity for devices, monsoon rain showers with bath amenities by Urban Skincare Co. and heated towel racks. The rooms are offered in multiple layouts, ranging from premium queen—some with overhead bunks—to first king and a VIP suite.
Sky Lounge is an indoor and outdoor rooftop spot serving craft cocktails, local beer and small bites alongside 360-degree views.
The property is owned by Wheelock Street Capital and sits across the street from One Seaport Square, a mixed-use retail and residential project in development, and close to Boston Harbor, the Financial District, Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and the Institute of Contemporary Art.
