US Airways to Shift BWI Marshall Airport Operations to Concourse C Next Week

On the morning of Wednesday, November 5, all operations for US Airways will shift from Concourse D at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport to Concourse C. The airline’s ticketing and check-in operations will take place on the upper level of the terminal near Concourse C, adjacent to American Airlines.

US Airways is a subsidiary of American Airlines Group. The move of US Airways to Concourse C is part of the integration of the two airlines. Customers traveling on American and US Airways should continue to check-in for flights with the specific airline operating their flight.

The shift of US Airways to BWI Marshall’s Concourse C will also accommodate a number of forthcoming terminal expansion and improvement projects. Construction work on the BWI Marshall D/E Connector program will begin in coming months.

The multi-phase development program will offer improved services for passengers while supporting future international growth. The D/E Connector program will: create a new security checkpoint to serve domestic and international travelers, construct a new secure connector between Concourse D and Concourse E, and configure airline gates to support additional international flights.
